Cerpen dari Kisah Lain, Apakah Fan-fiction?

Hi there, literature worshiper!

Kali ini pengen curhat nih.. soalnya bingung.
Sebenernya... kita diperbolehkan nggak sih, untuk ngarang cerita atau bentuk karya sastra apapun dengan ide awal yang kita dapat dari kisah lain?
Semisal gini...
Jaman dulu...
Aku suka bikin-bikin fan-fiction abal-abal yang kubuat dengan tokoh para idola-ku tercinta.. jadi jelas makna 'fiksi penggemar' nya..
Nah semisal buat cerpen yang ide awalnya dari ide cerita lain... masih bisa-kah disebut fan-fiction? Atau termasuk karya baru? Atau sedikit riskan untuk dipublikasikan karena masalah copyright?

Oh, well...
Jadi kapan hari aku bikin satu cerita super pendek... terinspirasi dari salah satu side story di dramkor bertajuk Good Doctor...

Thank you… for everything you do

Akagi Noda was the head of a powerful yakuza that based itself in Noda, Osaka. He was strong and frightening. He was pigheaded and temperamental. But his life turned up-side-down as he experienced a seemingly tiny unimportant event. His nature changed after receiving a piece of paper.

Akagi had an older sister who left home and moved to another city after marrying a music teacher. She had a baby boy. The happy couple named him Asahi, meaning the morning star. Asahi was a bright and kind boy, but he liked his uncle very much. He used to cling onto him a lot, as many as the grumpy uncle sent him away. It was not because Akagi hated his nephew; he was just unsure about how to handle kids.

One day, a terrible accident took the lives away of the husband and wife, leaving little Asahi all alone. Akagi took pity of him and decided, as he was the only family of the boy, to raise him. He was as busy as before, however, as he had to ‘work’ with his gang. He gave the boy a lot of tasty and luxurious foods, a lot of toys, but no time. They lived together but each spent a lone time.

A turn-up happened to the life of the cold uncle that one day, the boy suddenly felt very sick… so sick that he was rushed to the hospital. He couldn’t make it. It was too late. Before he died, Asahi left a letter to a nurse, who then gave it to Akagi.

Dear uncle, Thank you for everything you did for me. Thank you for always being there for me.Thank you so much.I love you.

Akagi’s hands trembled hard when he was reading every word left by his nephew. He spoke no word, but his heart was moved. From that day on, he drew himself out of the dark side of his life. Akagi moved to another city and started a new life there. He became a nurse of children department. He stayed in the hospital longer that all other staffs would do. He was the kindest nurse who always around to regale and comfort the sick kids.
